Getting over college was like a dream of yesterday. It was miles beyond my reach. Now, it is behind me. Graduating should be really fulfilling, specially when you took a lot of pain to get through it.
A business course should be easy and practical, right? But life is just so unfair. It was never that easy. After my first year of college in DLSU, under the accountancy program, the modular program (supposed new and improved accountancy program; more like 'give-the-students-hell' program) struck us by surprise. Before we knew it, we were signing to something assuring that we are the second batch of Guinea pigs put into the program. There, there. Off to the program. And down to the list of sacrifices our batch made:
1)Sleepless nights (I tell you, countless sleepless nights!);
2)Unnerving tension (all those 'every-other-day' quizzes and exams; the every-after-2-weeks finals; not to mention the ONE-WHOLE-WEEK finals on your last term);
3)Some incompetent professors (definitely not all of them; there're a bunch who really are worth the tuition fee);
4)Broken relationships (not pointing a finger at lover kind of relationships, but more of friendship due to stress and the competition); and
5)More heartache and crushed dreams (oh, I tell you, we've had 70% fatality; meaning only 30% of our batch graduate).
After passing all of those hurdles, and getting a huge circle of eyebag under my eyes, (I'm still concerned about how I look), I still feel something's missing. Oh yeah, haven't done any major violation in school. I hate to say this, but my discipline record is too clean! That's it... I missed conjuring a major violation during my college life! Darn! Lolz! o^_^o
